Partying in Afghanistan

The guys gave TJ a farwell party after his change of command. The airband that was formed in their last tour in Iraq, got back together to perform at the party. They call themselves "Dirty Jersy" and I am telling you this only to help explain why the other guys in the picture look the way they do.

Update

Hey Everyone!
We have been back in NC for a few weeks now and I think I am finally caught up with things. I finally finished grad school and am loving all the extra time I have. Even better, TJ is coming home on R&R the first two weeks of June! We are all so excited to get to spend time together. We will spend most of the time in Georgia, but may go down to visit his grandmother in Jacksonville sometime during the visit. We hope you are all doing well and I hope you enjoy the pictures of the babies! Have a great Mother's Day to all of you who are mothers and we hope to see you soon.

River Boat Tour of Savannah River

Mason got a Sunkist and loved it.

Messages to Daddy

Alley is giving Daddy a big smile!

Ty slowed down just enough for me to get this picture.

Playing on the beach

We stayed in a house on Tybee Island and Ty and Mason loved playing on the beach together. The water was cold to me, but it did not seem to bother the boys.

Both boys had to wear their sunglasses. I know now why people with twins dress them the same because everything Mason had Ty wanted and everything Ty had Mason wanted.
Ty and Mason met a friend, Kalie on the beach and had fun playing with her. Ty is helping her out of the water above.
Here they are all playing in the sand.
Gran, Alley and the boys playing on the beach.

Savannah

After Sea World and Jacksonville, we met my parents in Savannah for a few days. They brought my nephew, Mason, with them. Ty and Mason had so much fun together. They spent enough time together to get in several fights but they got over them very quickly. It was a great time. Below are some pictures of a horse drawn carriage tour we took of the historic part of Savannah. It was very nice 50 minute tour, but the boys were tired of it after about 15. Alley did fine because it was bottle time and nap time through the whole trip.

After the trip we went to the Crab Shack to eat and the boys enjoyed all the alligators they had there. It is a really neat resturant.

Playing at the resort pool

Alley was not too happy at first getting in the baby pool.
Once she got used to it she had a great time.
Riley and Ty had fun in the little pool. The big pool was a bit intimidating to Ty.
Playing ball
Ty was giving Alley some love!

Eating Underwater!

While we were at Sea World, we ate at the underwater shark resturant. It was really neat to watch the sharks swim around while we ate.

The waitress told us this shark had ostioporosis (spelling?). If you click on the picture you can see the hump on its back.
